AN Ingwavuma man is facing murder charges after he fatally flung his three-month-old daughter to the floor at 11am yesterday (Tuesday) in a heated argument with her mother.
The baby was rushed to the Mosvold Hospital, but sadly passed away today (Wednesday) from critical head injuries.
KwaMsane SAPS spokesperson Captain Jabulani Mdletshe said the man was quarrelling with the baby’s mother about not being allowed to take her to his home.
‘He then grabbed the baby from her arms and flung her to the ground.
‘The mother is devastated – her child was only born on 9 January.
‘We have assigned the case and will arrest the known suspect.’
