Bargain shopping aids Scouts and animals alike
A huge crowd of Zululanders turned up at the market day to shop for books, plants, clothes, home accessories, glassware, toys, electronics and sports equipment, among others.

RAIN did not deter SPCA supporters from their monthly outdoor shopping session at the animal welfare’s open day in Richards Bay on Saturday.
A huge crowd of Zululanders turned up at the market day to shop for books, plants, clothes, home accessories, glassware, toys, electronics and sports equipment, among others.
Tea, coffee, cool drink, bacon and egg buns, boerewors rolls and cake was also on sale at the SPCA Richards Bay tea garden.
All funds raised at the market, which takes place from 9am until 1pm on the last Saturday of every month, assists the non-profit in its day-to-day operations to help abused and neglected animals in the area.

Steel Bridge market
A short walk away, was the monthly Steel Bridge market where more goods were on sale to raise money for the 1st Richards Bay Sea Scouts.
The flea fun included stalls selling fishing tackle, mosaic accessories, baskets, glassware and food stalls.
