Brackenham have finally been promoted to the first division for the Saturday cricket league

BRACKENHAM have officially been promoted to the first division for the Saturday cricket league after beating Village by 79 runs in the promotion/relegation game at Addison Park on Saturday.
Village won the toss and elected to field first.
Brackenham managed to put on a respectable 209 all out in their allotted 24 overs, thanks to Errol Chetty 53 and Trirend Singh 41.
Brandon Foxcroft was the man who made the cherry work on a flat batting track with figures of 2/20 in 4 overs.
Village fell short at the crease with 130 all out in 16 overs.
Pieter Pieterse 31 and Hennie Swart 24 steered the Village ship for a short period.
Nishan Rshwarlall proved destructive with the ball with figures of 3/40 in 4 overs.
