Local snappers showcase talent
Check out the winners in the Beachcombers Photography Competition for February
LOCAL photographers showcased their technical skills and eye for creativity at the February competition of the Beachcombers Photographic Club.
The theme ‘Industrial City Scapes’ presented interesting challenges to the club members, with the results falling no shorter than exceptional.
Graeme Swarts was dubbed the winner of the theme category with his image Factory Ducting.
The Open category was won by Nobby Clarke with his entry Autumn Paradise and Tracey Sadie once again took the title as junior winner with her image Cheetah at Sunset.
Certificates of Merit were also awarded to Christine Kelbe for Eye to Eye and Hein Beukes for Stormy Seas.
The club is looking forward to next month’s interesting theme, ‘Travel Pictorial’.
Visitors and photographers are invited to join in on the first Tuesday of every month and share in the evening’s events at the NSRI base (next to Zululand Yacht Club) in Richards Bay.
Induction for new members begins at 6.15pm and the club meeting at 7pm sharp.
