Arboretum Primary's Jade Roland finishing strong in the boys 6x25m freestyle squadron race

FIVE local primary schools, Arboretum Primary, Empangeni Preparatory, Heuwelland, St Catherine’s School and Hluhluwe Privaat, attended the Heuwelland Inter-Prep gala on Wednesday afternoon.

Boys and girls aged U9 to U12 competed in freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly over 25m, with the U13 age group competing over 50m.

The action got underway with the open boys and girls 4x25m individual medley, with the last event being the 6x25m boys and girls freestyle squadron race.
