Bad driver spoils the taxi show

I READ with interest your articles on the competition to find the best, safest and most courteous taxi drivers.

Great idea, but perhaps only the drivers really interested in the safety of their passengers will take part?

Take this guy in the photo for example (NUF 13440).

It’s was busy Tuesday morning and we all wanted get to work or school on time.

We wait patiently and try to adhere to the traffic laws.

Not this man. Despite the fact he has a full load of passengers, he overtakes recklessly, forcing the oncoming car to take evasive action.

He then cuts in between two other cars.

I trust the Traffic Department, owner of the taxi, the Taxi Association and even the passengers themselves take some action.

The taxi industry is working hard to create a better image for itself.

This kind of behaviour negates that attempt.
