This was the message from the Mayor of Nkandla, Cllr Thami Ntuli during the awarding of bursaries to 100 destitute youth last week.
‘Although it is not enough to cover all their needs, it will give some relief to the children for their future studies.’
The Nkandla municipality initially started their project by helping 20 student and today over 200 student enjoy this benefit.
‘By supporting pupils’ education it will also help us to stop crime in our community,’ said Ntuli.
He also encouraged the community to pray and think about the future of their children.
